Every year, the complexity of Medicare is put on display when seniors choose their Medicare plans for the following year.” says Marcus Moran, Medicare insurance broker for almost 10 years. “People make mistakes, pay penalties, or go without coverage for long periods of time. My interest in Medicare came as a result of my mother asking me to help her when she reached the age of eligibility. Learning from that experience, I thought about how many other seniors I could help navigate the dizzying array of Medicare enrollment rules - and a new career was born.”

Marcus Moran graduated from the University of Utah in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication. Prior to becoming a licensed insurance professional in 2013, Marcus spent 7 years helping seniors with Assisted Living arrangements in Sun City, Arizona. It was during this time that Marcus gained practical experience with the inner workings of both Medicare and Long-Term Care, while helping families navigate the difficult process of choosing the correct Assisted Living Community and on-going required care. This experience proved invaluable creating an awareness of how Medicare, Long-Term Care and Life Insurance decisions affect the lives of both the insured and their beneficiaries.

Marcus and his wife, Jackie, have been married for over 20 years and have two children. He is dedicated to his family, and dedicated to making a difference in his community by educating others regarding their rights and options about Medicare.
